• Eligibility: Public housing is limited to income qualified families and individuals. The Housing Authority of Butte County determines eligibility based on: annual gross income (80% AMI); whether an individual qualifies as elderly, a person with a disability, or as a family; and U.S. citizenship or eligible immigration status. Good references and rental history are required.
